Merino Silva’s pieces navigate between the lights and shadows of colour tints and contrasts. Games of moving strokes that create three-dimensional effects that trap the observer, generating multiple focal points and changing planes. Paintings reminiscent of bird feathers, stone cracks or the nerves of tree leaves in an exercise of abstract zooms that the eye has to recompose and refigure.
